A Buffalo, New York area resident, Brendan has spent nearly his entire legal career defending insurers and their insureds in various types of personal injury and negligence actions across New York State. He has appeared in trial and appellate courts throughout New York. He has extensive experience in defending personal injury actions arising out of accidents on premises and motor vehicle accidents involving all prongs of New York's "serious injury" threshold. He also has extensive experience defending no-fault arbitration and litigation matters in the American Arbitration Association and New York courts. Brendan also regularly defends UM and SUM claims and in conducting examinations under oath relating to all kinds of first-party and third-party claims, including no-fault lost-wage claims, auto claims, and claims stemming from staged accidents, arson, property damage, burglary, and theft. Additionally, Brendan is experienced in defending cities, towns, and other municipalities, police departments, and school districts from all sorts of negligence claims and other claims brought against those entities.
